Tillandsia Xerographica is known as "Queen of the Air Plants." It has a plump and robust cushion-like form and large curving leaf structure. It has a silvery-green coloring, and often a pink or rosy glow. It's natural environment in Central America is arid and has little rainfall. There the plant mostly takes in water from morning dew so it is resistant to drought and very easy to take care of and keep alive. Xerographica is slow growing, and can live for many years.
Air Plant Care: Xerographica should be misted occasionally and also soaked for at least an hour once or twice a month, or up to weekly. After watering, turn the air plant upside down to dry. This ensures the plant dries out and prevents rotting from stuck water. If you water your plant less often, the leaves will slightly dry out and become more curly. Watch how the plant responds to your watering method, and adjust to your liking.
