Tillandsia Harrisii has a starry shape with velvety silver green leaves. It's naturally found in Guatemala and can grow to 8 inches in diameter. It's leaves are firm but soft, and it can withstand a lot of light. When in bloom, it turns red and has red and violet blossoms. Harrisii is known for being one of the most hardy and easy to take care of air plants. The small plants have more pointed ends and fit in smaller plant holders, and the medium plants are a similar length but a bit more bulky so require larger plant holders.
Air Plant Care: Harrisii likes regular waterings and good air circulation. Give it lots of indirect bright light, and mist a few times per week or combine with a weekly one hour soak.
Add a Welder Girl hand made metal air plant holder to create a hanging vertical garden, wall garden, or table top stand display. The small Harrisii plant works well with: small or large springs, cylinders, and small claw shaped air plant holders. The medium size plant works well with all medium or large claw, and large spring holders. Either size plant will go with all sizes of hanging prisms.
