Tillandsia Stricta is smoother and more green than most other air plants because it has less prominent trichomes. It's naturally found in Central America where there is a lot of rainfall and humidity, so it likes to be watered regularly and thoroughly. It's an adaptable plant but prefers bright filtered light. Stricta often grows in large clumps, and when in bloom it has a neon pink flower. Blooms last 2-3 weeks, after which point the plant will create offsets which will bloom in the next year or two. Stricta is not currently in bloom.
Air Plant Care: Stricta like a lot of water, so mistings a few times a week up to every day are great. You can additionally soak once a week for an hour. Although Stricta like a lot of bright filtered light, be careful not to give them too much light or they will dry up or potentially burn from direct midday sunlight.
