Tillandsia Ionantha Rubra

Tillandsia Ionantha Rubra is a small, hardy, and round air plant with spiky green leaves. It looks a lot like Ionantha Guatemala, but is often taller as it gets larger and has fewer trichomes. It shows it's best color when given more early and late day sun. When in bloom, Rubras turn a pinkish red with some orange, and have a purple flower. I currently have the tiny ones in stock, not the larger bushier ones but more coming soon. Website will update when they are in.
Air Plant Care: This air plant respond well to misting, but prefer soaking about once a week, or a mix of both watering methods.
Have an instant vertical garden in your home by combining air plants with Welder Girl metal plant holders. The large Ionantha Rubra plant works well with: any large spring, medium claw, or prism shaped displays. The small Ionantha Rubras work well with small spring, small claw, and small or medium prism holders. Plant holders sold separately.
